UK songstress VV Brown follows up her spanking new Chuck Harmony-produced single“Children” with a bit more info on her upcoming sophomore LP (due out in early 2012). The album, titled Lollipops & Politics, will feature 10 tracks, including a love ballad in the style of the Ronettes called “Be Yours,” and “Famous,” which the 27-year-old co-wrote with Bjorn Yttling of Peter, Bjorn And John. VV kicks off her upcoming gigs — the first here since last year’s opening slot on Maroon 5’s summer tour — on November 1 at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory, and wraps things up on November 10 at Seattle’s Nectar Lounge.
