Already remixed by the likes of Switch, Kissy Sell Out, and The Teenagers, and remixers of The Gossip and Charlotte Gainsbourg, The Black Ghosts have stormed the music scene it just a few short months with dancefloor-ready gems like "Anyway You Choose To Give It" and "Someway Through This". A UK electropop band led by Simon Lord of Simian and DJ Touche of The Wiseguys, The Black Ghosts are equal parts Daft Punk, Timbaland, Serge Gainsbourg and David Axelrod, forging a sound that mixes vintage 80's erotic pop with modern high energy electro. As Simian disolved, members James Ellis Ford and James Anthony Shaw went on to pursue the production duo known as Simian Mobile Disco while Simon Lord decided to push the electro-pop envelope he'd begun as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the band, famously featured in Justice's classic "We Are Your Friends". This live three-piee performance marks their first US tour and Seattle Debut as they ramp up towards their debut full length release.
