CLINTON FEARON

Coming from a rich musical history, Clinton Fearon now steps forward with his own roots reggae group, Boogie Brown Band. Original lyrics and rock steady, hard-driving, stainless rhythms comprise the foundation of their music which appeals to people of all ages and from all walks of life.

The band is led by Clinton Fearon who hails from deep in the hills of St. Catherine, Jamaica. As a youth, he went to Kingston to eventually become the well-known bassist, vocalist and lyricist for The Gladiators as well as a house musician for Coxsonne Dodd's Studio One and Lee "Scratch" Perry's Black Ark Studio. He also composed some everlasting basslines for Yabby You, Jimmy Riley, Max Romeo, Junior Byles and many many others. Upon coming to the United States, he was cofounder of the popular reggae group The Defenders.
