We do our best to reply to any inquiry in a prompt manner, so if you're a booking agent, manager, label rep, etc...please feel free to email us right away. If you are an unsigned band, either locally or nationally, please read the tips below so we can better assist you. You may be asking yourself... "How do I go about getting a show at Nectar?". Well, here you go...

We prefer EMAIL to phone, specifically we're looking for emails that include a link to your website... preferably a website with audio samples that represent your music best. Please do not mail us a demo-pack, as honestly, we'd have a difficult time getting back to you in a timely manner, plus you'll save money on postage and materials and its ecologically sound.

In the email you should include answers to the following questions:

1) How would you describe your music (genre, influences, etc)?
2) What size crowd do you draw on a weekday?
3) What other bands are you friends with or do you go well with locally?
4) Where have you played and with whom?
5) Any Seattle-based press or radio to brag about?

Thoroughly answering the questions above helps us help you. Nectar hosts a diverse range of music including Indie Rock, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Electronic, Soul, and just about everything in-between, so we'd love to hear from you.

Once a show is confirmed you will receive an email from us detailing everything related to the date (set times, loading, financial breakdowns, etc). We may exchange a few emails about prospective dates or bills, but until you get this very thorough confirmation email, we are not yet confirmed. Keep in mind that we do live by the unwritten "two-week blackout period" rule. It doesn't help us, the band, or the other venue if the band plays another show in the Seattle within a two week period of the confirmed show here.

PRIVATE PARTIES

Nectar happily facilitates private parties, gatherings, social and corporate events. Guests can reserve the entire venue, the mezzanine level, one of our two spacious booths, or even our covered outdoor patio. Nectar can accomodate small to large groups for any event and will tailor the room to fit your needs.

1) Feed large parties, using our specialized Banquet Menu
2) Show movies, presentations, or other multi-media with our 12 foot, retractable movie screen and digital projector
3) Bring in your own band or entertainment
4) Bring in your own caterer
5) Host a theme party and decorate any way you like
